Every season we schedule a season-ending two-weekend double elimination tournament. We celebrate and remember these past winning teams and players, and can’t wait until the next one!
OAK CITY SOFTBALL LEAGUE’S COMPETITIVE DIVISION SPRING 2024 LEAGUE TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Congratulations go out to the two Competitive Division teams that fought their way through both a championship game and an “if” game to settle 1st and 2nd place in our two-Sunday double-elimination league tourney: Only Fans – also regular season champions – and Sunday Swingers (both pictured below)! Two sweaty 7-inning games determined the champions on June 30th – all teams in the division gave what they had, and had an awesome Spring season. We’re looking forward to seeing our Oak City Softball League family back in action in August – we’ll have registration open shortly for Fall 2024 season!
OAK CITY SOFTBALL LEAGUE’S REC+ DIVISION SPRING 2024 LEAGUE TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Congratulations to the 1st and 2nd place winners of our Rec+ Division’s two-weekend Spring 2024 league double-elimination tournament – Woofs (darker blue shirts) and Basic Pitches (lighter blue shirts), respectively (pictured below)! A championship game, then an “if” championship game determined the winner, and both games were played on a steamy Sunday (June 30th). Basic Pitches also took home a season champ trophy for a perfect 14-0 regular season record!
OAK CITY SOFTBALL LEAGUE WOMEN’S+ DIVISION SPRING 2024 LEAGUE TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Congratulations to Rainbow Oreos, champions of our Women’s+ Division Spring 2024 league tournament, with GOATS (also regular season champs) tied for 2nd place in the tournament! All three teams in our W+ division tournament played amazing games and left it all on the field!
OAK CITY SOFTBALL LEAGUE’S OPEN/COED DIVISION SPRING 2023 LEAGUE TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Congratulations to Only Fans (pictured top) for battling through games on Sunday, June 9th and then again on Sunday, July 16th to emerge as Spring 2023 league tournament champions! Things appeared to favor a different outcome in the championship game at first, but they got that trophy – their opponents were Inside the Spark (pictured bottom), who proved themselves worthy challengers and earned second place! Cheers to both teams!
We’d also like to congratulate Just the Foul Tip (pictured below), our Open/Coed Division’s Spring 2023 season champions – they were a welcome addition to our league this season and racked up an impressive collection of regular season wins!
FALL 2022 LEAGUE TOURNAMENT AND SEASON CHAMPS
Congratulations to our Open Division Fall 2022 league tournament champions, Ball Busters! They placed first in our tourney, followed by Turn N’ Burn in second place; both teams received trophies for these wins, and Turn N’ Burn were also season division champs. In our Women’s+ Division tournament play, Queen Misfits earned 1st place, with Rainbow Warriors in 2nd place; Queen Misfits were also season division champs. Congratulations to everyone!

They placed first in our tourney, followed by the Misfits in second place; both teams received trophies for these wins, and both teams were also season regular play co-champs.
