One of the great things about our league (and our contemporaries in iPride Softball) is that we have an annual national tourney - Oak City Swing Softball Tournament (our 3rd edition is coming up June 7-8 at Walnut Creek Athletic Complex) – and many of our sister iPride leagues do the same in their cities. You'll see and hear plenty about our own tourney in the days and weeks ahead as we get closer to it, but we'd like to share the spotlight with some others that various teams and players in our league have experienced and recommend. You can't go wrong with the Buckeye Softball Classic in Columbus (5/3-5/4), the North Star Classic - TCGSL in Minneapolis on Memorial Day weekend (5/24-5/25), the MAGIC Tournament - Washington, DC in DC on July 4th weekend (7/5-7/6), Knoxville's KTown Klassic (7/25-7/27), the Dairyland Classic in Milwaukee (8/29-8/31), Huntsville's Rocket City Space Jam (10/18-10/19) and Ft. Lauderdale's Hurricane Showdown Softball Tournament (11/28-11/30). There are MANY more tournaments on iPride's Upcoming Tournaments page – ipridesoftball.org/tournaments/ –if you are interested in taking a team (or signing up as free agents to be picked up by a team), please see your OCSL team captains (who will then talk with our ratings team to ensure you have proper ratings to participate). We would really love to see players and teams from our league experience these tournaments!
