As we near the start of our Spring 2025 season, we're happy to share that A Place at the Table Raleigh is the recipient of a portion of league funds set aside last fall. A Place at the Table is Raleigh's first pay-as-you-can café – providing "community and good food for all regardless of means". This Raleigh non-profit offers multiple ways to pay for a meal, including suggested price, at least $3, using one of their PLACE cards (available for purchase for handing out in our community), or by volunteering for at least an hour. Since 2020, the café has served over 35,000 meals and had over 4600 "pay it forwards". We wholeheartedly support A Place at the Table's mission and we're so thankful we can help this amazing team of local heroes provide affordable and nourishing sustenance to everyone.
